Many young people have great ideas - however, most don't know how to turn these ideas into a reality. Many dream of being an entrepreneur, but don’t know where to start. DEN changes that. By providing education, mentorship, and funding, students bring their ideas to life. Meet some of our high school entrepreneurs who already have.

Remember when you had a crush on someone in middle school or high school? It’s really difficult to figure out if someone likes you back. That’s why I created “LikeMe?” the first high school and middle school dating app. When you have a crush on someone, you take a heart and place it by your crush’s name. If they did the same, you each get a notification saying you like each other. If not, there is no notification. LikeMe? is safe for students--it uses your school email to create your account, you can only see profiles from your school district, and to eliminate bullying, there is no chat feature.

As we've gotten older, we've noticed the rise in mental health illnesses and anxiety disorders around us. In high school, teens are faced with stress and anxiety on a day-to-day basis. So, we wanted to help reduce anxiety and we created "Scented Stuffies." We created an adorable stuffed animal from scratch, we use aromatherapy to reduce anxiety. Our stuffed animal is special because it engages three of the five senses to reduce anxiety. Some of the profits made from our product we'll donate to National Alliance on Mental Illness- Michigan (NAMI- Michigan).

Our focus product we’re launching is swimwear. Our goal is to make women feel comfortable and confident while purchasing something of quality and that meets their budget. Our product is made to ensure that women feel comfortable without spending an arm and a leg.

Bandmate is the Khan Academy of band music education. Many kids are unable to pursue their passion and get the most out of the music education because schools don't teach enough or tutors are too expensive. Bandmate solves this by providing a cheap option for schools to purchase in an annual subscription. BandMate is an easy to navigate website that hosts video tutorials for band instruments. The videos are centered around a band curriculum found in most public schools. However, individuals can also purchase a monthly subscription to further their own education. We fill a niche that no business fully covers, and BandMate is an idea that's worth investing in.
